Your Favorite Newborn Pictures of 2012 from Pictured Moments By April

On the Facebook Fanpage, I recently put out a plea for help in choosing some favorite newborn images from 2012 for my side-show header on my new (upcoming) website.  I have to say that I was blown away by the responses and feedback that so many of you shared – thank you for your opinions and willingness to help!  I didn’t want to let all of your hard work go to waste, so here are the results of your feedback:

In no particular order, these were the 30 FAN FAVORITE newborn images of 2012:

Labor Of Love | Giving Back

Do you remember the Labor of Love, Happy Labor Day giveaway?  A complimentary newborn portrait session was up for grabs for the first baby born on Labor day in the surrounding areas of Clarksville, TN , Fort Campbell, KY , and Hopkinsville, KY.

Nia Joelle was the Labor of Love winner – born at 5:47pm on Labor Day in Fort Campbell, KY.  Nia’s newborn portrait session went well – she was a sweet little sleeper and her older sister stole the spotlight every now and then.  It was an honor to work with this family and to pay it forward by blessing them with a complimentary newborn session.  Here are some of my favorite images from Nia’s newborn gallery.

Are you loving these little newborn tutu and headband sets as much as I do???  Check out one of my favorite vendors Wren and Ribbon for more of her chic and unique accessories.  Be sure to become a fan of hers on Facebook too!

Best Newborn Photographer – Xander’s Feature!

Joseph Alexander – such a big name for a little newborn baby!  I had to give him some blog love since he made it to the Best Newborn Photographer Page last week.  He rocked the pose like a superstar too!

While we’re on the topic, let’s go ahead and give a shout-out to beautiful baby Liza who was also featured on the Best Newborn Photographers Page last week.  The image was taken by my beautifully talented bestie over at Jamie Lynn Photography.  Friends, if you’re the Fort Rucker, Newton, Dothan, Enterprise AL area then you MUST check her out!

Just a little shoe love…

I love shoes♥ One of My favorite indulgences is a new pair of sometimes frivolous shoes. Who’s with me?? While I’m not knocking that guilty pleasure of mine (or anyone else’s), there’s an elementary school in my area that has an extremely high percentage of children in need. The statistics were somewhere in the range of over 80% are in the “free lunch” program because of the challenging incomes of their families. My church Woodlawn Community Church is doing a shoe drive to help make a difference. Would you be willing to join me in sharing our love of shoes for these children that need a pair that fit?

Shoes & Belts for Byrns L. Darden Elementary School
Bring new or gently used shoes and belts to meet the needs of
Students K-5th grade. Also need sweatpants for K-2nd grade

(Belts are appreciated too because most of the children are wearing hand me downs, donated clothing, or parent’s clothing so they’re too big!)

You can bring your donations directly to my church

or drop them off at my house and I will bring them.
My address is:
1365 Mutual Drive
Clarksville, TN 37042
Please just drop them off by my front door any time, thank you!

Project 12 – Back To School! | Newborn Goodness Forum

The project for August on the Newborn Goodness Forum is Back To School.  Kylie started kindergarten this year and she was ecstatic!  I was very excited too – for both of us.  My excitement is partially because running a {more than} full time business and being a stay at home mom has been one heck of a sleepless juggling act this past year.  Kylie being an extrovert and extremely social has struggled with being an only child – she NEEDS the consistent social interaction with peers.  I’m eager to watch her flourish with new friends.

How has “Back To School” gone for you and your children?

Meet The Triplets! Fort Campbell, KY Newborn Triplet Photographer

Here is a sneak peek at my first triplet newborn babies!  These little angels were welcomed as a big surprise by an enlisted military family with three previous children.  Besides recently doubling their family size, they are facing a military relocation in a week as well.  There is a need for help in this huge transition this family is enduring.  If you are local and would like to donate diapers, clothes, gift cards, baby gear, etc – please contact me to arrange a drop-off within the next week.  If you would prefer to donate via PayPal, you may do that as well by following this link:  DONATE HERE.  I will be giving the family all the funds raised before they move to their next duty station.  I appreciate all of your support, thanks so much everyone!
